As the world’s leading Heavy Metal Festival At Sea we strive to make our event an inclusive experience for everyone in order to provide the ultimate Heavy Metal vacation experience of a lifetime! In order to foster such an incredible atmosphere we are committed to upholding the following code of etiquette for our event:

Sailors Code of Etiquette

  • 70000TONS OF METAL is the home of The United Nations of Heavy Metal at Sea. As such we are respectful of different cultures and beliefs.
  • The 70000TONS OF METAL community embraces people of all colors, nationalities, religions or the absence of religious beliefs, sexes, ages, abilities, sexual orientations, gender identities and expressions. Discrimination of any kind will not be tolerated.
  • 70000TONS OF METAL is dedicated to a positive Heavy Metal festival experience for everyone. Respect your fellow metalheads’ personal space. Inappropriate physical contact will not be tolerated.
  • On 70000TONS OF METAL everyone gets treated with respect. Offensive, harmful and hateful language towards anyone on board 70000TONS OF METAL, including the ship’s crew, is unacceptable.
  • If you see or experience any behavior that does not meet the standards of the 70000TONS OF METAL community, please report it to our event security immediately.

As a community it is our collective responsibility to safely address and/or report harmful behavior during our festival. Witnessed or reported violations will be addressed and appropriate actions will be taken. The appropriate action will be determined on a case-by-case basis and with involvement from those who reported the issue.
